Superfood Vegan Hot Chocolate

Superfood Vegan Hot Chocolate

This superfood vegan hot chocolate is not actually made with chocolate, its made from cocao nibs. By making this swap and adding dates for sweetness instead, this drink goes from a guilty pleasure to something thats good for you. Cacao nibs are a good source of fiber and protein as well as healthy fats and iron which I love. I love that its warm and comforting and sweet!

I will say that having a high speed blender is definitely going to create a richer beverage here, but if you don’t have one, cook the mixture for an extra five minutes. Giving everything a little bit longer to soften up will do your blender a favor.
